Fits and works perfectly, only they should have warned you have to pull out the tab and the plastic strip attached to it (to allow the black toner to come out to print.

When I received this product it was in old HP packaging. but thought it would be ok to still use. When we were finally able to use it the ink was very light but the time to send it back was over. I don't recommend at all.

Not satisfied, I wanted to try to retail them but without retail packaging it will not work. in retail packaging, came to us in a small box with no original box, with a toner spill and a few blisters around. I wouldn't order if the new one wasn't in the original OEM packaging.

For many years my HP 3005dn printer would not work because horizontal streaks and ghosting on the page indicated an expensive repair. Then, years later, I read that HP had a problem with the toner cartridge that was causing these ghosting. I bought this 51A for almost half its price from Office Depot, fingers crossed and --- OMG it worked! So my 6 year old HP 3005dn, which has only printed about 5,000 pages, runs like a relatively new printer again.

This is the second HP toner cartridge that I am using in our P3005 laser printer. The first was about 8300 pages long and the second closer to 9000 pages.
