I know this item is out of production but I still need it. My corporate office recently shipped a computer to our branch office without this cable. The cable worked perfectly. It even has #1 and #2 on the VGA cables to indicate which monitor will be #1 and #2.

Worked great. I bought a used Dell desktop with a DMS 59 graphics card and used this cable to connect a monitor to it. And if I ever want to use two monitors, I can just plug in a different cable.

If you're looking to split a VGA signal so that two *identical* monitors display the same thing, this might be for you. However, don't expect it to work well with two different monitors. Don't expect it to extend your desktop either. To do this you need to go beyond that single VGA connector on your motherboard and add a graphics card to your PC (if you can). Worked exactly as I needed it to. I have an old Dell with a DMS-59 card. I also have a VGA monitor. I wanted to give the entire installation to my parents who have an older computer than them. After asking here at Revain if this splitter would only work with one monitor (I haven't seen one that was only designed for one monitor) and after several people said it would work, the next thing I did was go and ordered him. Works perfectly!
