I've been looking for a replacement ballast for my Master Water Conditioning MWC 7 UV system for a long time. The ballast is from the MWC 350. I bought this one and it works perfectly. The only difference is that this works with 4 pin and not 2 pin. Well, at least I haven't tried a 2-prong lightbulb. But it works great and fits the device perfectly.

Every year I buy a new ballast for my water supply system. I bought this one in April to have in reserve if the other one fails as they only last about a year. Around July 1st my old ballast broke so I put a new one in. This failed on October 27th, no alarm, no flashing light. The reason I bought this one was so I know if it doesn't work. Dissatisfied with this $40 ballast I wanted to contact the seller but couldn't figure out how to do so without a review.

The UV sterilizer is supplied with two ballasts. Less than a year later, the first stopped working. I replaced it with the replacement ballast that came with the UV. I then ordered this ballast as a backup, as it will probably only last a year. The second ballast lasted just over 8 months. I opened up this ballast which I received last December for backup. Lo and behold, it didn't work right out of the box. I think I should have tested it before saving it for backup. I am ashamed. I have 2 HQUA
