Love it! Cute but functional. Our youngest (1.5 years) is so tiny we still have to buy these small sizes and most of them don't have a hard sole. That was great!

100% recommended! I first bought a pair for my 1 year old just to try them out as they are so affordable. Now I've just received 2 other colors which I just ordered because we love them so much! As a beginner, my daughter doesn't like the thick rubber soles that most shoes have and most shoes are very heavy. These solve the problem! They are so light and so soft on the inside! The sole is flexible enough to make walking easier! I'm just a little sad that I can't get them in a larger size!

At first I wasn't sure what the sole would be. When children first walk, they are encouraged to either not wear shoes or to wear shoes such as moccasins due to the very thin leather on the soles. The reason for this is that it helps children feel the ground better and ultimately figure out what their feet need to do to walk.
