I bought a clear frame/smoky lenses and the only thing I want is for the lenses to be a shade darker. I compare them to Oakley Black Iridium polarized lenses, which are quite dark. They're not as dark as Oakley's, but they do the job for their intended purpose, as a backup for driving/beach/boating/and anywhere a pair of mallets is needed.
