Humphreys Witch Hazel Astringent Gentle Review

Purchased to make hand sanitizer with aloe vera gel and tea tree oil. Simply add 5-10 drops of tea tree oil and 5-10 drops of witch hazel to 1/4 cup of aloe vera gel. The addition of tea tree oil is key to its antimicrobial properties. Witch hazel is an antiseptic, while tea tree has antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.

This product contains 14% alcohol to be precise. I thought it was 100% natural witch hazel as that's exactly what it talks about and doesn't mention alcohol so here's a review in case anyone else buys it because like me I didn't think it contained alcohol

I really like this item. It has a strong smell but I've been using it for a while and I'm used to the smell. I have tried other witch hazel products and this has been the best for me so far. My skin feels clearer after use and it doesn't dry out my skin. I like the price too! Good value for money (you won't find cheaper anywhere else)

I first came across this particular brand of witch hazel when I was in cosmetology school 26 years ago. We used them in front of our face. It cleans very well and you can feel the cleanliness. I've been using it ever since and will always use it.
