HUNTER Original Classic Little Polar Boys' Boots Review

I ordered a large child's size 4 in military red (I wear an adult women's size 6). They fit great. Enough space to put on thick socks. The boots look normal. However, the hunting box they came with did not fit in the boot. The box was in terrible condition, listed as a size 5 in graphite. It doesn't bother me, but I know a lot of people like to have an original shoebox. It also causes time to question its legitimacy. If they were legal then why don't they have the right NEW box?

Image if you click black it shows it's glossy but it's not glossy, if i click purple or most other colors it becomes matte but black becomes glossy black so thought i'd buy glossy black, not matte, which is what I would take. Just got back but needed them for an event the next night and didn't have time to get anything else. Otherwise the shoe is great but I find it misleading which is the only reason I didn't give it full stars.

My 9 year old son got them into a huge puddle of melted snow minutes after putting them on. Size fits (he has a narrow foot and they still fit well). Since then they have been used daily. No problem, we've been using it for a week. I have a feeling the sturdy and durable construction of these boots will weather the next two months of mud/snow/rain.

I bought a pair of Hunter boots for my daughter less than 6 months ago, thinking they would hold up and not tear through. Turns out they are just another pair made in China from CHEAP materials and they are not made the way the hunting boots were originally made. I won't buy another pair - if I want cheap Chinese stuff I can buy Carters wellies. I'm not suggesting you pay extra money to buy these boots. I gave the boots two stars because we wore them a number of times before the soles started…

Bought for a neighbor's birthday. She's nine years old and I bought her a little bigger so she could grow up in it. She opened the box, put it on, ran outside in the rain and started marching saying it was the best gift ever! Thanks!

I bought women's hunting boots and they fit me in length, but I didn't like the short ones. Someone told me to try on a child size and they fit perfectly! I'm 5'2 and I'm glad someone told me about the height of the kids.

Great dark but hot pink color. The upper part of the leg is soft and fits closer to the foot. Stands just below the knee. I bought them "in size" and they fit perfectly.

Hunter wellies are slightly firmer than regular wellies, making them ideal for children with slightly narrower feet and also making them more comfortable to wear for long periods.

The boots were in perfect condition. The only complaint I would like is that the picture shows a shiny boot, but in fact it is matte.

I received a shiny version of the boot. I am a size 4.5 adult and bought a size 3 but the ankle part was loose and the calf part was too tight.

We liked them but needed the next size up. I ordered a size up, they sent a glossy one not matte. So I had to send both pairs back. Definitely ordered matte, not glossy.

I've had the boots for a few months now. They held up well against Fall in New Hampshire. I also bought a fleece lining for the inside and they work great in the snow. I'm usually a 6th size in women's clothing. I bought 4 from Big Kids and they fit perfectly. Redeemed.

I ordered a size 4 for big kids and a size 6 for women. They fit perfectly. The color in the picture seems much darker than my boots but the green doesn't bother me. I ordered hunting green and got more of what looks like green. There would be 5 stars if the color was more accurate.

Felt completely awkward even with boot socks and another pair of regular socks to double up! I wore them for an hour and couldn't wait to get them off my feet, they were killing me! Wouldn't recommend to anyone, they are terrible! If I could give 0 stars I would!

Too small but my kids love this brand and style so much they asked to keep them! My son wanted the boots so much and promised to give them to his little sister right after our trip. These boots are a family favorite and always stand up to a downpour in the Northwest when we travel.

Dear hunters! Just buy them, they never run out! Perfect for kids shoes and I order my child two sizes up so it lasts longer!

They fit my daughter perfectly (mine is size 2). We were on the Oregon Coast and she wore them to roam the ocean (we went in October so it's colder outside). Your feet stayed dry and the boots held up great. . They are not only functional but also very cute. Now I definitely understand the hype surrounding hunting boots! Good product!

Terrible purchase! After three wears, the boots started to peel off. What a pity! I was very excited to buy them and now it's a waste of money.

I've wanted one for a long time but didn't want to spend. I'm so glad I finally bought them! Unlike other regular rubber boots, these boots look like real shoes. There's real grip at the bottom. They look stylish and are well made. I usually wear a women's size 6.5, but I took a child's size 5. Perfect for me. I can wear thick socks if I want and they easily slip over skinny jeans.
