I bought my daughter for school. They lasted a full year and a half and are still in very good condition. My youngest daughter will wear them to school once she grows up. We liked them so much we bought a second pair in a larger size. Definitely worth the price. These are the shoes I would recommend buying.

Ordered these size 2 mary jane shoes for a 6 year old girl who has never had a problem with a shoe fitting. Previously, she wore mid-calf StrideRite Mary Janes with no problem. The medium width 2.0 Hush Puppies Mary Jane was too narrow. The Velcro straps barely touched, and according to the girl, the shoes were narrow. I sent them back and ordered a 2.0 width. Although the strap fitted a little better, she still felt the width was too small. The length seemed good. I also sent the shoes back.
