Set screw was too small to screw in. The cable was very thin. The magnet was tiny. You could see the copper wire that was inserted into the spring to make the connection.

Great antenna for the price. On the first day I spoke to several people up to 10 miles away. I set the SWR pretty low with my antenna analyzer. The vehicle surface acts as part of the antenna. So if you move the antenna, the SWR may change and will need to be retuned. This also applies if you move it to another vehicle. The magnet is strong enough for normal highway speeds.

Bought this antenna for my girlfriend's white Jeep Grand Cherokee. Worked great but the hex was not tight enough so the spring was missing once when she removed the antenna to go to the garage I couldn't find a replacement spring so I had to order a new replacement.Just make sure the hex bolt is very tight and you should be fine.

These things work right out of the box. Easy. Ease of installation. Extended cable. Adjustable antenna. If you have one, start bitching. Maybe they didn't add an SWR meter. I saw a huge improvement after tuning my antenna. And we have it on three different CBS channels. Three different vehicles. Jeep Ford F150 and Ford Ranger Pickup. I plan to buy more.

Just good in all respects. Cool white color, longer stem than most cheap brand name antennas, stiffer spring and excellent build quality. The cable is long enough to get anywhere you want to mount the antenna and the magnet is strong too. If you loosen the hex adjustment screw, you will find that there is enough additional whip to make any required SWR adjustment. If I needed a second antenna I would just click buy again and not worry. Also, it comes with a really solid downloadable packaging.
