Hutzler Manufacturing Co Saver Onion Review

I bought it because it supposedly contains onion smell and that's exactly what it does. My onion has been in the fridge for 2 days now and there is no smell in the container.

This container is only for storing onions. The fridge stinks of onions, which means it doesn't do anything to contain the onions themselves. Very disappointed when the description clearly says it traps odors!

Although the color of the "bulb" does not affect the purpose of the item, the color of the picture SHOULD be changed! I understand the fine print says the color will vary, but you must add both colors to the bow that the buyer will receive. I would really like a RED ONION instead of a YELLOW

The product is suitable for storing red onions and preventing odors from entering the refrigerator. However, the design of the grooves is not suitable for fitting and sealing. The grooves are too small to close completely. Once closed, it is very difficult to open. I would not buy this brand again because of this fact.

i ordered this item because it was shown in onion red. I returned the first "yellow" and thought I made it clear that I wanted "red". I got a yellow one for that. It also appears to have a "cold" joint in the plastic that looks like it has a crack in it. I will order a more expensive replacement directly from the manufacturer,

This is the second product I have purchased as the first (yellow onion) kept my onions weeks longer than I expected. I had to use the red one for my red onion, so I have both kinds in the fridge. It preserves the onion smell and its shape makes it easy to find in the vegetable drawer instead of a bag of chopped onions falling to the bottom of the drawer and being forgotten forever. Plus, they can be washed in the dishwasher! I am very impressed!

I have a yellow storage container for yellow onions and a purple storage container for purple onions until I dropped it and broke it. I thought I ordered a new purple case as shown in the photos but I received a yellow case. There was an image of a purple container and I didn't have an option to select another so I figured that was what I was going to get, unfortunately for me. Doesn't affect my ability to store onions and too many return issues, but doesn't meet my organizational needs.

I agree with many other reviewers, the product needs improvement to be able to choose the right color. I already had a yellow onion headband and wanted a red onion headband like the one in the photo. No luck, I just got a yellow one. Very frustrating. The goalkeeper is fine. It fits a larger arch, which is nice. If you can open or close it! It's a struggle every time I use it. The details don't match and I'm spending too much time trying to close it properly. Unfortunately I cannot recommend…
