You won't know until you buy it

The lid is too loose and will leak a lot when pouring. As for the heat, not sure if it survived the dishwasher through a hot and heavy wash cycle but still disappointed with the leaky lid. I am currently unable to return with Covid so I may be able to add a silicone seal.

Great glass mug.

We've used this product for everything from hot tea, iced tea, powdered milk (we've been in the snow in the Rocky Mountains for over a week) to protein drinks, pretty much anything we need. We don't need to chill the water at all. It's so freezing right out of our well. Good product.

I love this pitcher

Bought to pour some alcohol. At first I thought it was small, but it's actually the perfect size. I haven't tried heating anything in it and probably won't. If you're looking for a family lemonade pitcher, this isn't it. I'd say it's a great size for 1 or 2 people - or to create something special I've used it for.
