I bought this to have soup for lunch. I don't want to use the office microwave. It's perfect, holds my two cups of soup and keeps them hot!

Perfect for delivering meals to work! I use it for soups, salads, fruit slices, nuts and everything else. It's easy to clean and keeps food hot/chilled until dinner time.

I bought these for hot meals for children. They're a great size, easy to clean, don't leak and a great color. They keep food warm, but only if you fill them completely. When you leave the place, the food cools down too quickly (before lunch). Ideal for soups (liquids) and the like, but not for pasta.

The first time I used this, I made sure the soup was brought to a boil before putting it in the container. After 5-6 hours, when it was time for lunch, my food had cooled significantly to almost room temperature. The next time I used it, I poured boiling water into the container to heat it up before adding my soup, which I also brought to a boil. Again 5-6 hours later, when it was time for lunch, my meal had cooled considerably. I wouldn't recommend it as it's now being used as a useless food…
