Hydro Flask Travel Coffee Press Review

I love Hydro Flask products. Compared to most, they keep you warm or cold longer than most. I bought this for my morning coffee and it is as expected. I wish it would stay warm longer without the lid. The lid makes it very difficult to drink very hot drinks in my opinion, so I use it without the lid. If I now leave the house, the lid would of course be used. It's just an alternative mug for morning tea or coffee.

Let me start with one negative comment I have on this mug. This mug will keep your drink hot for a reasonable amount of time, but I wish it stayed hot a little longer. However, there is a lot to like about this group. This mug has a rubberized finish which gives it a weight that I like. Didn't know the mug was made that way when I bought it. The grip feels good and the lid is quite heavy. It also pairs beautifully with a one-cup coffee maker like the Keurig.

I've burned my tongue so many times with this mug I can't count! You would think it would cool down a bit if you let it sit for 5-10 minutes, but the tongue sores the next day prove otherwise! With the lid closed, it can keep liquids hot for about an hour and then keep warm for another 2-3 hours. Thanks to the rubberized coating, this mug is also very durable and feels comfortable in the hand.
