I just received the case and I think I was expecting something locked in the bottom of the computer with the keyboard. The connection between the top and bottom doesn't seem to be very strong. The case doesn't cover the keyboard at all. There are 2 sheets of plastic to put on the keyboard but nothing to hold it in place. The manual doesn't mention the keyboard part at all. I'll keep it and maybe I'll like it more over time.

On the first day there were problems tightening the top. There was a slight crease on the top of the camera, and an even tinier dimple in the middle of the underside of the top cap. It slowly started to crack and the entire lid appears to have stress cracks and chips. Of course, it was right after the warranty expired that the crease became an issue. The case is fine - I'm writing this in the midst of the 2020 COVID-19 household advisory so I didn't bring it. really a stress test, but it does a great job of keeping me from accidentally scratching the computer case. As with most of these soft cases, fingerprints are a serious problem when aesthetics are important to you.
