is a good replacement if you want to convert to LED with little modification. The brightness is EXACTLY the same as a non-heat incandescent bulb. With a little refinement, they fit my 2019 TRD PRO Tundra as a 3rd brake light. I had to cut off the unnecessary plastic next to the lamp socket terminals so I could get the LED to actually sit in the lamp socket. Otherwise probably quite expensive for an LED bulb. But it works
