This DIY snowman kit was a complete let down. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I noticed right away that the pieces were difficult to assemble and fell apart easily. The instructions were vague and confusing. The only redeemable quality is that it kept my child occupied for a short amount of time.

Oversized, very ugly, made from hard cardboard that just doesn't look good. Large holes on both ends when you tie the item together for jokes to fall out and small gifts to fall out. If you wanted poppers, this isn't it. I read the info and must have just overlooked that they don't burst. AT THE BEGINNING of the description, they should make it clearer that they don't appear. looser.

I wasn't expecting great Christmas crackers since this is a do-it-yourself kit (and I found regular crackers in stores too late). But they were fabulous! Very easy and quick to assemble and larger than the standard cracker size. There are no prizes in the set, but there is enough space inside for various things. These included traditional colored paper hats and jokes. I wish they had come with pictures but my family didn't mind at all. I will pre-purchase the shots next year and use them again…
