These mug coasters are very cool and stylish. They're not as big and bulky as most coasters, so you'll get more of them. They have a rubber bottom so you don't have to worry about them slipping and sliding. If you need absorbency, get a cork or rubber pad. I wanted the gold coasters to complement the other metallic accents in my space. These fit perfectly!

Many people seem to be under the illusion that coasters are always meant to be soaked up. I always thought it was mostly about avoiding rings on the tables and things like that. However, product images should make it clear that they are not intended to be photographed. They are a very normal size. If you don't have a large drink, your glass will easily fit on it. They are exactly as expected and I am very happy with them.

I bought them because I have a lot of copper accents at home and they are good but I can't say I love them. The mount they sit in looks a bit cheap and they have watermarks so I always try to rub them off but I had to assume it would happen to the metal. Otherwise, these are great coasters! If you suffer from OCD like me I would opt for something more absorbent to avoid permanent watermarks but they do the job well.
