Compact Dive Light

I use this dive light for its light weight and excellent beam. My wife has had the same flashlight for years and I'm willing to ditch the bulky flashlights of the past that required 4 "C" batteries - phew!

Pros
  • Diving & Snorkeling
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Not bright at all in watersports

I bought this flashlight because it was advertised as being 100 lumens brighter than my 250 lumen i-torch flashlight. Not only is Ikelite not as bright as i-torch, but i-torch has a beam angle of 20 degrees and Ikelite advertises 13 degrees. i-Torch is much more focused.

Pros
  • Dive Torches
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Great light - Read one of my comments

This purchase is actually a replacement for the one I lost in the rocks last week. I say this because the band that came with it didn't work as the smaller line is quite thin and not particularly high quality. I should have noticed that he was dressed. As a manufacturer I would recommend Vectran line with a thicker coating that never breaks. However, I carry this small, lightweight flashlight in my BC pocket and it's always there when I need it. I didn't think about buying it again.

Pros
  • Outdoors
Cons
  • Update Availability

Very bad flashlight!

Terrible light. I have an Ikelite Gamma which I bought as a gift last year but used for the first time on this trip in Cozumel (used twice on two night dives). It has been used so sparingly that I still have the original Panasonic batteries that came with it and it is stored in a Pelican case with the batteries removed. keep shaking it or tapping it in your palm until it turns on, or it turns on again but is weak (it was like half power). I had to stay close to my dive buddy as it was very…

Pros
  • Sport and active recreation
Cons
  • I'll write later
