This is the first time I've tried incorporating essence into my daily routine just because it's a one-ingredient product. No doubt preservatives are added to the essence, but they just aren't on the list. wanted it to work for me because it's said to help with irritated, inflamed skin and also has antibacterial properties. This toner has a slightly thicker texture than other aqueous toners. I have sensitive skin. This toner is not very moisturizing but definitely soothes the skin. Because of the consistency, I apply it after cleaning without a cotton pad. I enjoy its scent and love it very much. The only thing I think is that it's a bit expensive. Will buy when on sale.

I really like this essence. i love the smell I love the smell of ingredients far more than synthetic fragrances and essential oils in skincare. It doesn't have a smell or anything so it's great for sensitive skin. It's a runny, thin texture but super moisturizing for my oily/dehydrated, acne-prone skin. I live like a lightweight. I have rosacea. My face feels right after washing but I apply it and the stinging and redness just goes away. It's so moisturizing and my skin feels so smooth. It's quite expensive but worth it. I'm so glad I found this.

This essence is amazing. I've been waiting for 100% Wormwood Essence for a long time and I'm very glad I found it. I have to say the bottle looks great on my shelf too. For me it replaced the Amore Pacific Vintage Healing Essence. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate such a simple essence that will not cause me any problems.

Be careful if you have a pollen allergy or a seasonal allergy - it probably isn't for you! Mugwort produces large quantities of highly allergenic mugwort pollen (mugwort is a weed similar to ragweed). It gave me a severe allergic skin reaction and some quick research turned up something I didn't know from the great reviews: I was drenching my face in the stuff I'm allergic to :(
