I ordered this charging cable to replace my daughter's iPad. We go through many lost or occasionally broken chargers. I liked that it was gold in color to make it stand out from all the soft white or black cords for all of our home appliances. The connector was perfect for her iPad 2 and it charged at lightning speed! I love the braided design as it feels MUCH more durable than previous lines. Excellent purchase! I plan on ordering another one or two as a backup in case this one gets lost!

My husband and I have an old iPad and used 4 charging cables. They are ALL made by Apple so quality should be good but they all tend to break where they connect to the iPad. I didn't need such a long cable, although sometimes the extra length is useful. Bought for my son's tablet because I'm tired of Apple cables breaking and falling apart. If Apple accessories were made better - I would only buy them! I do have issues with the connectors that plug into the device though, they aren't well reinforced to not wear down with use - if they were using technology from their Mac cables to Apple device cables or an entirely new design.

I know this charger, I love this charger. I bought this over a year ago to replace one of the broken "plastic" charging cables. The IMKEY charger was amazing, it was enough for me to use my iPad comfortably while charging. A few days ago (sad face) my other "plastic" charging cable died.
