difficult conditions. Excellent build quality and robust.

I've been trying to get a handle/clamp like this for a while without success. I finally found this product at Revain and ordered it. At first I wasn't sure if it would be as strong as the Cardenili clamp. After receiving it, I feel that it is quite durable.

Pros
  • Ergonomic handle design
Cons
  • Some problems

No, it sucks compared to the Real/Real Thing.

Well, that serrated thread that keeps the moving jaw from rotating so it's always aligned to save time or reduce the need for two hands when setting up? nope This slot also prevents the giant wing nut from rotating freely. Even with a good shot, it hardly ever spins. Which takes MUCH more time than occasionally adjusting the jaws on other brands. But maybe your mileage will be different! Otherwise it's just great.

Pros
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty
Cons
  • I'll get back to you

First Impressions - Camera & Photo

This review is based on my first impressions only. In fact, I haven't used it yet. Right out of the box I noticed that it's a lot lighter than Matthew Mattelini's version this clamp. I like that it's made of light alloy. I just hope it's just as strong. It certainly looks cheaper. swing out of the lower jaw. This is very handy as the Mattlini version wiggles in all directions and can be a bit annoying.also the rubber seal is a nice touch.hope it lasts as long.

Pros
  • 5/8" Baby Pin
Cons
  • Damaged

Note: This review is based on my first impressions only. In fact I haven't used it yet. Right out of the box I noticed that it is much lighter than Mattelini's version of this clamp. I like that it's made of light metal. I just hope it's just as strong. Definitely seems cheaper. Another plus point: there is a cutting groove along the entire shaft, which prevents the upper jaw from deviating from the lower jaw. This is very practical, because the Matthelini version swings in all directions and…
