Bought for use with LED flash. The arm does not remain stable and does not support the weight as advertised. Very disappointed with the quality or lack thereof. Next time I will use a higher quality Manfrotto product.

I wanted an external webcam mount and bought it along with a desk mount clip and a camera mount. The metal tube is hollow so not as heavy as it looks but very strong with well made connections. It is easy to position at different angles and change position by slightly loosening the connections. No additional hardware is required to set them up. The only reason I gave this unit 4 stars instead of 5 is to make it more stable. You have to understand that I have pushed this product to its extreme limits. I used it with the Super Clip to attach a GoPro to my mountain unicycle. I wanted to shoot from behind and off my hoop. The pictures I took of the mountain bike trail were amazing!
