I installed dozens of trim rings and their spring quality is not very good. I had to take the old ring apart to get them working. If you want an easy install, try to find one that doesn't complain about broken springs. I have chosen not to return them as I have been able to remove them from other slip rings. If you have locking springs, these bars are fine.
