I think they work for my purpose. Sometimes they don't stay on the fabric all day. They are slightly wider than standard masks. They don't fit my nose at all. But it's nice to have them, so I feel more comfortable using the homemade masks I used to get as replacements for my commercial masks.

I use these for masks, they hold up well but shouldn't be bent too often. Mine broke after a few weeks. Then the glue dissolves and they move in the mask. I won't buy them again. I have used the plastic coated metal strips that come on coffee sachets and they are much better. They don't stick and don't require sewing, but they are thicker and longer and work much better.
