I use this to send my daughter hot meals to daycare. They don't have the ability to heat food. One tip I've found helpful is to pour boiling water in and wipe it off before adding heated food. So it stays warm until dinner!

My 10 year old son likes to bring leftovers like spaghetti or homemade pasta for lunch on days when he doesn't feel like a hot meal. The thermos fits nicely in his lunch box and comes with a folding spoon, although he prefers a plastic spoon or fork. The food stays warm enough until noon.

Overall - my biggest gripe with this is that it doesn't really keep the food hot or that cold. Bought this for my daughter's dinner to keep her warm or cold depending on what I packed. Doesn't hold the temperature as advertised. Do yourself a favor and just buy a real thermos.

This is a great school lunch for my daughters! I cook the night before, then reheat it and pour it into a jar for lunch. It stays warm and my daughters say the food stays "yummy"! Easy to clean and great quality! The spoon is good too! I wish it included a plug too, but still great! Highly recommended!

We bought this for school lunch, it's colder and it's soup season. My son loves soup and this hot food thermos is perfect. We cook lunch for him every day for class 2nc and it's great. As far as I can tell I'm cooking dinner, very high quality and insulated, and keeping his food warm for lunch in a few hours. We used to call them thermoses, now they're insulated containers, but they work great, and if you're making a school lunch, have these. For your children

Haven't used it yet as I only got it yesterday but took it out of the box to wash it and make sure it was ok . it worked there. I just love it for the look, the color, the size, and the presence of a spoon and space for it! I bought this especially for my daughter because I pack her lunch for school every day, but I think I'll keep it to myself! I'll come back and let you know if it's sealed as advertised. All in all I think this is a must see!

No matter how hot the food is when I put it in, my daughter says she's already warm by dinner time (about 3.5 hours). The push button is under the spoon storage, I suspect it can relieve pressure, but it's designed in such a way that you can't properly clean underneath. I'm very scared there might be mold growing in there, but there's no way to disassemble it and see. It's not exactly junk or anything, but if I had to do it again I wouldn't buy it.

The insulated can itself is great, but it takes a 6ft prybar to get the spoon out and a 200lb guy to get out! I bought this for my daughter for school and there is no way she can get the spoon out of the lid. We tried several times to see if I would loosen it when I took it out, but it didn't. Once you get the spoon out you're good to go, but like I said, getting it out is a whole different job! Once you get it, pick it up and become the king of the people because it has been carved in stone…
