i got this brush and used it on my fairly clean horse but it is still very dirty i have to wash it after almost every use if not only clean the walls to wash away the dirt

Thought this brush was harder than it is. I can't use it for the first pass on my horse if it's totally soiled. This is good for finishing, but not good for initial dirt removal.

Finally the brush I grew up with. Solid, light, big and handy. The bristles are soft yet effective - even for the face! It absorbs oil and hair well. Washes easily and dries quickly, which is very handy during the molting season when the brushes can get very dirty after 1-2 uses. My favorite brush, I will definitely buy again.

Honestly I don't use them for their intended purpose. I use them to clean two microfiber sofas. There are three house cats in my family and one of them is shedding like crazy. The bristles on this brush are gentle enough for a sofa, yet will grab and hold cat hair. After I'm done I just rub my palm on the brush and I can easily remove the strands of hair. Also use it on my sheets and pillows, it works great!
