🌰 Ion Intensive Shine 4N Medium Natural Brown Demi Permanent Creme Hair Color for Vibrant Medium Natural Brown Tones Review

Whatever color you buy from this line it will almost always transform your hair to the darkest, almost black colour. I previously bought a dark brown natural brown and it was mostly black so I switched to medium brown and was hoping for medium brown. To my surprise it is the exact same black color and I am very disappointed. I was going to love this because I loved the "fun" Ionic colors, but after trying over and over again to get a basic brown I just can't get my hopes up with this brand.

I am a 30 year old professional. The shine was amazing but the FADE was HARD. I always add a line or so of 5rv for a deep mahogany tone and my roots are anything but. If you use this, leave it on longer than time tells you or go darker!

Although this hair color covers the hair well, it is very dark brown. I have color stable hair and was very surprised at how dark it is. On the other hand, it covered my gray hair pretty well, so that's a good point. I read to go a shade lighter than your hair and I did, but I probably need two shades lighter. This is my first time using a semi-permanent hair color so I need some practice choosing.

Spend 10 minutes searching and you'll know you need a color two shades lighter than you want, anyone at Sally's will tell you. This is my favorite brand of hair dye and the best brown for my natural color.
