IPad Mini Case Kickstand Protective Review

We bought this for our daughter's best friend because the kitty looks just like hers and my daughter has the same cover (in blue kittens) and she loved us with it we could. not resist. Good magnetic closure, easy to clean, just wish there was room for a drawstring but it doesn't bother because we just wrap it around and the girls toss it in the bag anyway.

I have an iPad mini four and the cutouts in this case do not match my power button, the volume buttons are slightly below the cutouts You CANNOT close the latch when holding an iPad mini 4 and try something then read on.

I ordered this because of all the great reviews and in one day I have three complaints: 1. It doesn't work in wake and sleep modes; no magnet is required for this. 2. The top seam is so thick that I can't reach the power button through it. It wouldn't matter if waking up and sleeping worked. 3. The small flap that keeps the lid closed interferes with the large chunk on the right side of the screen. This isn't a huge problem for most websites, but it's very annoying when you're reading a book…

This case was definitely adorable when I first bought it. However, after a few months, the material began to crack and flake off. I don't use my iPad regularly and keep it in a protective case during transport so there can be no misuse on my part that could cause this. So this is a manufacturing defect which I will not buy again nor recommend to anyone.
