That's exactly what I wanted. It is strong so it stays open but can also collapse for a nest. One of my cats loves it indoors. The big cat (20 pounds) probably won't fit in, but he still doesn't want to. he just likes to sit on top. Good product.

He struggled to get through the small opening - only 7 inches and close to the top. The cat cave sent to us is really small, not average. Disappointing to say the least.

Kitty loves her "cat cave". It's on a shelf next to my desk. She "watches” my work for hours every day. Kitty weighs around 3.5 kg and has enough space in the den to bathe, nap and roll over. We've had this cave for six months now. It is thick and easily withstands claws. This cave is kitty approved!

So I bought the smaller I bought the big before the cats don't go in the smaller but my 2 biggest 14 and 15 Pounds insist on sleeping on it, which due to its size, hardly fits on it, but they like it. My medium sized cats fit it perfectly and they will go back in, come back and spread it out to lie on.

This is great, the only comment I have is that the hole at the top is a bit bigger than the front of the cave. I ordered another brand and I like that it looks more interesting and attractive to my boys. I like it enough to keep it. The material is great, we love the softness of the wool. This is a good quality product. Our kitten boys love them very much.

I have one of the extreme prima donnas, dates as opposed to precious kittens. I buy tons of toys I've never played with. Built in shelves on the walls but stay on the floor, I have bed for bed but she sleeps on mine. I bought this bed without having better expectations but I was wrong. The little girl crawled out of the chair, sniffed it and immediately climbed in, rolled over three times and took a nap. The best endorsement I can give. You LIKE 😻

Although my cat is not 100% accepting of the cat cave, she went inside and even took a little nap in it. I think it will be there more often when it gets colder, especially since I placed it in front of the heater outlet. She tends to sleep around the house with little fondness. I think she likes that she can "hide" there, although she keeps checking to see if we're looking at her. I am happy with the purchase. It matches our decor and will make a great hiding place once we have company again.
