Longevity of the irons

The item was bought as a gift! I've been buying this brand for years so I've given them away when needed and they loved them.

Pros
  • SAFETY FIRST FROM ROWENTA – Three-position automatic shut-off system to prevent accidents. MADE IN GERMANY - German quality with stainless steel soleplate, anti-limescale system when using tap water and automatic cleaning system.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

It's hard to read the words on the iron

Opaque surface means you can't see how much water is inside the iron. The letters on the iron for the temperature are also difficult to read. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The water level is not visible!

Cannot detect water level. The water tank is so dark in color that you cannot see how much water you have put in. I can't believe Rowenta allowed this production error. I get annoyed every time I use this iron and would not recommend buying it. I've seen the same complaints from others.
