I have to admit I don't like this mascara as a mascara. I tried it on my lashes and it just didn't look special even when I squeezed the extra product from the tube onto a stick (love this packaging for that reason). I used to rely on Jane Iredale for quality but I should have read the reviews. Surprisingly this is not a very good mascara and I, like some other buyers, just thought it must have dried out. Is it possible that it is actually old and withered? I have thin lashes and had to apply it three times in a row to get a barely noticeable effect. A very disappointing product from a normally good company.

I only use this as a primer. It tends to stick together like any other mascara. The wand is a thick bristled brush that is difficult to use. Place the brush at the base of the lash line and rotate the brush away from the baseline, but make sure the brush isn't too thick with the product - a lot of work. Let the lashes dry and then apply lash extensions - I use Thrive.
