should have read the description. Unlike most backpacks we get for school, this one doesn't have 3 compartments (the middle one, which my kids usually put their gym clothes in. Also, the gray backpack looks more like a dark green army color. However, it's very durable.

This is the third backpack of this style that I have bought from Jansport. All my kids and everyone now have these and they are holding up very well. For the record, I'm 5ft 3" and this backpack fits me just right. I've had issues with full sized backpacks being too big to fit comfortably. My 6 foot husband tried it on and it was too small for him to be comfortable.

It's hard to choose a backpack from another brand after buying Jansport. They are durable, easy to clean and come in a variety of sizes, shapes and styles to suit any purpose. I ordered this for my daughter who is a freshman in high school. She said it was the perfect size. As someone who pays for it, I appreciate that the lifetime warranty tag hangs on the zipper when she pulls it out of her bag.
