Right boot strap does not close - poor workmanship. The previous model Mermaid II is fantastic. I have 3 pairs and have been wearing them every day for 2 years. People complain that they don't have padding, and that's true. It's like walking barefoot, but with protection. Much better for your feet than heavy pads. I think it's better for your bones too. It's hard to find an older model so I really wish they were better.

These shoes are true to size. I wear women's shoes 8.5-9 and ordered 8.5. It fits perfectly and is comfortable.
