God! I love this ottoman, it is beautiful and goes perfectly with my sofa and armchair. I've searched for months to find something suitable and took a chance on this one. PERFECT! I couldn't be happier.

Jennifer Taylor still makes furniture for those of us who prefer a more traditional look. This stool looks perfect in my office and is functional. It looks classy and is comparable to other more valuable brands. But it appears to be of high quality, if not a family heirloom. The truth is, I can't keep cats away from the Ottoman Empire!

I thought the stool would be much heavier, the wood used seems very light and not as strong in terms of construction as I thought? For the price I thought it would be a thicker wood, more durable? I don't know how the bottom is sealed and I don't want to damage the fabric to look inside. The fabric is regular, not exactly velvet, more of a smooth soft fabric but without the 'fluff' that velvet is usually famous for.
