I used this mirror during a stay in an upscale hotel and told my sister-in-law about it. She said she had used it before and liked it. So I ordered it for her for her birthday. After her rave reviews of how well it illuminates your face without blinding you with white spots, I ordered it for my other sister-in-law. And now that my vision isn't what it used to be, I ordered myself and now I see what I was missing. Ouch!

This is a great mirror. I got it because I really can't see up close in the full mirror behind my dresser. I use it to do my makeup and check my skin for... you know. The enlarged page will startle you the first time, but I'm used to relying on it. I don't need to use my reading glasses to get these beautiful air brows. The matte finish matches other metals in my bedroom. I just wish the light was brighter and even adjustable. I still have to turn on the overhead light to use it.

I bought this because my 5x magnifying mirror seemed to prevent me from "plucking" my face without causing serious damage and scarring. (Terrible habit of mine, I know!) but it's not my fault, so I figured if the mirror had more magnification and light, I'd be kinder to my face.
