My 7 year old daughter has just started gymnastics so we sat down to choose some swimsuits for her and she immediately chose this sparkly rainbow swimsuit. I ordered a size up based on other reviews and I'm glad I did. It fits really well. It's tight because it's meant to be, but it doesn't restrict it in any way, and she's very comfortable in it.

The product corresponds to the description. Daughter loves it true to size. Only criticism: the seam running down the back shows threads after the swimsuit has been put on and stretched. The hair band, as others have said, has a very wide piece of elastic which makes it unsuitable for most children. I removed some stitching and replaced it with a thin piece of rubber and now it works great.

Perfect fit for my daughter. I would say it maybe a bit small but it's 3t and more suitable for 2-3t which wasn't offered so I took 3-4t instead. I love the fact that it comes with a matching hair tie which is so nice to add because the hair has to be tied back in gym class. In general, the material does not shine through and does not look cheap, which I feared. The purchase is definitely worth it!
