I love these soft and charming socks. My daughter is 4 and wears a size 10 toddler shoes. I bought the medium with the expectation that they will now be a little big for her. They reach above the knees to the bottom of the thigh but look good on the knee. They're a little long in the leg, but it grows into them.

Now they fit (we are 5 to 8 years old), she is 12th size but they don't fit the next size up. They stretch, so we're keeping them, but you might want to go up a size if you're planning on growing in a little, or your feet are on the larger end of the recommended foot size. The quality should be pretty good and the colors are great.
