Good for CF, not so good for SD

I love the CF side but the SD side leaves a lot to be desired. I like to turn used cards upside down so I can quickly determine which cards are ready for weddings and families. You can't flip SD cards without them dangling and falling out. I ended up buying another JJC case that only had rectangular SD card slots and replaced the rubber mold with these.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • unreliable

FOCUS ON WATER RESISTANCE!

Not well done. I tested the water resistance. I dunked it in a sink of water. Maybe 3 inches max, and let it sit for a few minutes. When I came back it was filled with water. I understand the difference between waterproof and waterproof, but to be honest this is resistant to light raindrops at best. Not to mention the latch, which is really poorly made. A drop per tile and my cards are everywhere. Not recommended at all.

Pros
  • Everything seems so far
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Maybe too much compression for SD cards

This is a sturdy little case, but the SD card slots are so narrow the plastic on my best SD card cracked. My machines still work, but I'm not sure for how long - I had to cut the top notches on the rubber to keep it from happening to my other cards. I also want to arrange them in reverse order like I did on my last case to indicate I've already used it. This works fine for now, but ideally I don't need to make any adjustments to protect my cards from the case.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great case at an incredible price!

AMAZING! This little thing is a rare purchase. I'm a professional shooter and my wife is used to the occasional indescribable piece of jewelry that costs a lot of money - I opened this up and asked her how much she thought it was worth - given its sturdy (almost pelican-like) construction and sophistication on the inside. She estimated $49. Ha! - But strangely, and this is the key, I would pay that much for such a good case. I worry so much about my cards, especially when they are full. This…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of style

Exactly as described, right price and functional

My Nikon D810 has CF and SD card slots. I usually write NEF to CF card and JPEG to SD card. With this case I can transport both sets of cards efficiently and safely. It's a well-built case that closes securely and won't accidentally open on its own. As others have pointed out, if you put SD cards in a sleeve, you cannot rotate them backwards to indicate that they have been used. I understand why that would be annoying. My workaround is to slide the "lock" on the SD cards being used before…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic controls
