This bow tie comfortably fits my husband's 18 inch collar size. We were expecting it to be a flat silk fabric, but this one is silk twill. If we only enlarge the picture of the tie, we would see the weaving.But now we like the twill!Perhaps the seller could note in the description that the tie is made of 100% silk twill.

Excellent quality bow tie for such a price. I went to the mall the other day (stumbled across Macy's) and noticed that bow ties are 100% silk and cost around $50. Then I stumbled across this and am very happy with the price. This is a quality silk. I bought both a black bow tie and a red bow tie and they were amazing. I would recommend them to everyone!

My husband wore this to his inaugural ball. He was the handsomest man in the room, and no one could tell that the mayor was wearing a Goodwill tuxedo and $19.99 bow tie. Rschunimagu. on the Internet the picture turned out to be monochromatic. Actually there is a black drawing. The material is a little heavier than other 100% silk bow ties I own so it's easier to shape but not as soft as other ties.

I bought a black bow tie to wear with my tuxedo on a 7 day cruise. There were 3 gala parties where I wore it. It certainly looked nice, but on the 3rd night the edges started to crumble (see photo). It wasn't an expensive tie, but I was hoping to get more than three uses from it.
