I like the look of the belt and it fits well. I expected that when it was delivered. Stitching and leather quality is as expected. The real test for any leather belt is durability. How does it persist over a longer period of time? Warping, drying out, cracking, etc. It will take time to see.

I got tired of buying belts that don't last long so I decided to use the old spare. It's a cute waist belt and I hope, like my old Johnston & Murphy belt, it will last until I outgrow it.

High quality J&M belt. If you have not worn Johnson and Murphy products; It's higher quality than any American-made leather men's clothing.

For the price I would expect real leather. It appears to be bonded leather or layers of thinner material. This belt looks nice but from the way the layers crumple I can tell it won't last long.
