For the price I would have preferred real leather. It appears to be bonded leather or layers of thinner material. This belt looks nice but from the way the layers crumple I can tell it won't last long.

Bought 34 in black. I also have a pair of J&M Melton Oxfords in black so I figured why not pair? What arrived was a very poor idea of what this product was supposed to be. The belt was wrapped in a tight oblong circle (rectangular shape) and fastened with thick plastic. This created patches of ripples in the skin at the bends about every 8 to 12 inches. This belt looks like it's made out of quality materials. When it came to leather goods, I gave up all other brands. The steel buckle is great because it doesn't fade which has been a problem with other J&M belts.

Terrible. Bought mine from Zappos. Cheapest belt I've ever bought for €70. The Going appears to have a thin layer of acrylic as its paint that peels away from the skin when folded slightly. Unreal. The belt I got wasn't Johnston and Murphy either.

Quality J&M belt. If you have not worn Johnson and Murphy products; It's higher quality than any American-made leather men's clothing.
