Too small and cheap

Too small, about 3 sizes too small, smelled like shoe polish, the show itself was cheaply made, it fell apart right out of the box, I just put it back and sent it back, it was Halloween costume quality

Pros
  • Great shoes for the price. My son has been using them for a year now and they still look brand new.
Cons
  • Some customers have reported that the Joocare kids split sole tap shoes may not hold up over time. Shoes can get holes, tears or other signs of wear relatively quickly.

Joocare tap shoes: perfect for your little dancer!

I recently bought Joocare Child Split Sole beginner tap dance shoes for my daughter and I have to say they are fantastic! The shoes are made from quality materials and have a solid construction, making them ideal for beginners. The split outsole design offers more flexibility and freedom of movement. In addition, the shoes are true to size and are very comfortable for small feet. The lace-up closure ensures a snug fit and prevents the shoe from slipping off during dance moves. The taps…

Pros
  • I wasn't sure about the size online. But they were true size 3. Was a great gift.
Cons
  • These shoes may not be suitable for children with wider feet or other foot abnormalities due to limited sizing options. This can make it difficult for some children to find a comfortable and supportive pair of tap shoes.

Good purchase rating from me

These are the shoes my kids dance school needed. They fit well and she loved them. They are just as good as expensive dance shoes.

Pros
  • The child is standing in the tap for the first time - ordered and delivered to class. There are no complaints from the child.
Cons
  • While this shoe may be suitable for beginners, it may not provide the support that some more experienced dancers need. Lack of support can lead to leg pain or injury

Excellent fit and quality

The perfect tap shoe. My daughter has wide feet and they fit her perfectly. She is 5 years old and her 5th coat is perfect and she has some room to grow. Her dance teacher said these shoes were the best and he liked the split soles. She said they were like professionals. Good quality and stays put.

Pros
  • Sporty
Cons
  • I will add later

Just go one size up

I checked the reviews to choose a size for my 9 year old and wasn't too disappointed. She is a size 4 in regular shoes and was advised to go 1.5 sizes up. I'm 5.5 and she could do with 5 but at least she has room to grow. As long as everything is good in the comfort zone and not too hard

Pros
  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer style

Don't buy split-soled tap shoes.

These tap shoes have no grip. They're not very well made. The size is not suitable for use as I have ordered several of them. My daughter wears a street size 1 and I ordered a 2.5 and they were too big for her. Shoe construction is bad. She rarely uses them for a faucet. You can literally bend the shoes. The tap teacher frowned at the split soles and said it was bad for foot development. If you order for props, it is enough if you order for performances. do not buy.

Pros
  • Dance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
