Works like a charm, although I definitely recommend going up the size if you're close to the cap. I have a 28L backpack and tried the SM (15-30L) which was too narrow. M (40-50L) fits great!

I got XXL for Osprey Atmos 65 (Medium) because of the size. I am satisfied with the fit and performance of the rain cover. However, the carry case is not very useful. a drawstring bag made from the same material as the raincoat would be a better choice than the velvet fabric the bag that came with mine is made of.

I felt so smart to take this out and cover my backpack when I encountered an unexpected downpour while walking around the temple in Cambodia. It was raining heavily and while everyone else fled I was in waterproof clothing from head to toe, including this cover on my backpack. This was key to keeping my electronics and camera dry. It's also important that I can quickly put my backpack on before something gets wet.

This bag fits my REI Trail 25 very well. It keeps the backpack dry and stays on most of the time. The rubber seems very durable. The missing feature is that it requires a clip/carabiner/strap to attach the bag to the backpack. As you can see from the photos, the cover fits snugly when the backpack is not on. However, when the backpack is on, the backpack straps push the lid off the edge of my (and I think most) backpacks. My solution: use the binding clip above. Not elegant, but enough for now.

I bought this case in preparation for a PCT hike. I've been through several training and prep hikes and this is the best cover I've had. The vertical and horizontal tethers prevent the pack from inflating or flying away in strong winds when I put on or take off my pack. I ordered the small size and tried it on my 30 liter bag. The smaller size (calculated for 15-30 liters) fits perfectly. The design is basically like a large shower cap with a rubber band around the hole. It stayed in place for me but partially slipped down when worn. It would have helped, but most likely water got into the main compartment during heavy rain. Exactly where it lands on your pack likely depends on the exact configuration of the straps and stitching. I was a bit worried when I bought this. I have never heard of this brand and often cheaper products are not of as good quality. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in the mail.
