JR Products 62155 Aluminum Flange Review

Such a reliable motorhome accessory is rare to find. This thing is sturdy, lots of brass with a metal ring to attach it. I was completely surprised. Haven't installed it yet, but it's MUCH better than the plastic filler my install came with! GOOD STUFF.

bought this water connector because the one that came with the camper was plastic and started to leak and the plastic deformed under the weight of the hose. This block is made of brass and the round plate is made of steel. not hoping to make campfire conversations made of durable plastic

So this is an aluminum product which is positive but it does NOT come with a gasket to seal it. It's kind of negative. AND ALSO. A NOTICE. This is a socket connection. Almost all campers need this part to be male as most have a female connector on the side of the camper in my experience. So beware of this issue as I had to send it back and order another one.

I had to go to the hardware store and buy additional parts: male nipple and internal seal to finish the job because it is suitable for women, my old one was for men. Not the subject's fault, it just wasn't present on the male end. The tricky part for me was getting the right rubber seat gasket to the PE fitting. All in all it looks great, works great.

The threaded body apparently cracked during installation and I didn't notice it for about 6 months. So I had a dripping leak running down the wall and practically flooding the bottom compartment, which I had never opened until recently. So now I'm venting and afraid of a possible repair. Luckily summer is coming soon. Contacted seller, no response.
