Tired of plastic cans. The ones I had didn't close well. They had anti-spill spouts that looked more like anti-spill spouts and were generally awkward to use. I wanted a metal can. We use these type 1 safety canisters for various liquids in our work. After working with them I decided that this would be my best decision as well. Okay, I know it's silly to consider gas canisters, but after using those horrible plastic gas canisters for over 10 years I've finally settled on a metal canister.
