Ultimate Protection: Heavy Duty 6x6 Ft Camping Tarp with Carrying Case Review

I used this once on a roof rack to cover my belongings after it was rated for durability, but it broke into a million pieces within an hour on the freeway. Not impressed!

I bought this because of the size. I use it in the back of my hatchback and the water resistance is great. It matches the interior of my car and I can transport plants, dirty sportswear, etc. without damaging the carpet. I also use it to keep stuff in the back of the car.

I use it as a curtain on my ATV shed instead of a heavy top door. It's a tight weave and I hold it in place with eyelets. I don't know how long it will be, maybe a few years? the door 6x6 feet high. This is heavy equipment.

Excellent screen, especially for the price. The only major issue holding it back from five stars is that it is very noisy. So if silence is a problem, like it is with me, it's not good. I use it as a baffle and it makes an annoying noise when moving and it also reflects machine noise too much. Aside from my use, it deserves a full five stars.

is not waterproof. Used that in the back seat for a pup who pees while driving (totally different problem). She peed on the tarp and by the time we got to our destination in less than 10 minutes the tarp had already started to seep. I had puppy pads under a tarp suspecting it wouldn't be waterproof and I'm grateful I kept the seats in my new car. I'm sure I could use this for other purposes, but absolutely don't trust it to prevent water (or urine) damage.
