Flexible Thermocouple Wire that Delivers Great Performance

Using this flexible thermocouple wire stranded insulation, our team found that it provides great performance and flexibility, allowing for easy installation even in tight spaces. The wire is also very durable and resists corrosion, ensuring that it will last for a long time. However, the insulation could be a little thicker, but overall, we were very satisfied with its performance and would recommend it to fellow industrial electricians looking for a reliable thermocouple wire.

Works as intended - electrical

This wire has worked perfectly. Most K-type thermocouples are 2M or 3M, which wasn't enough for my application. I use PID controllers as water temperature indicators in my devices. This cable, along with mini-K-type connectors from the same vendor, allowed me to use the thermocouples I bought and have an under-dash disconnect.

Valid as a TC EXTENSION

Please note that this stranded wire should primarily be used as an extension line for standard thermal lines, as their thermal performance only partially corresponds to that of thermal lines (see figure, product description). It can be used as a thermocouple when the user knows that outside of the specified range there will be significant errors in the temperature measurement.
