I wouldn't use them to get dirty but rather for display! These kitchen towels are of excellent quality, but they are too beautiful to be ruined by daily chores!

Most of these towels do not absorb the slightest bit of moisture. The only 2 that are worth anything are the terry ones. The rest is a waste of money.

These towels are marked as 100% cotton. but eat nothing! It's so frustrating to wipe off the liquid and it just keeps smearing! They look good, but if you're planning on using them for anything other than looks, I'd look elsewhere.

I bought these because they are 100% cotton and contrary to some reviewers they are VERY absorbent (maybe the towels weren't washed before use). 100% cotton creases after washing/drying. If the buyer wants to be wrinkle-free, 1.) buy a synthetic blend and sacrifice absorbency, or 2.) take out the towels, slightly damp, smooth them down with your hands, and hang them over the rail. These towels are of great value. They look REALLY beautiful and are REALLY absorbent.

I'm picky about kitchen towels - my favorite is William Sonoma. These towels are definitely lower quality than WS. Their cotton quality is cheap and thin. Two solid black terry towels absorb water a little better than more decorative towels. They look great in my kitchen and fit harmoniously into the interior. Conclusion - I will use them for decoration purposes and as a replacement for higher quality kitchen towels! I probably wouldn't buy them again or recommend them.

Nice set of towels! There are two textures in this set of 4 towels. 2 flour sacks and 2 absorbent cotton/terry towels. I like different patterns in the same color palette. I don't have a dishwasher so I use cotton/terry cloth to dry dishes on the counter (when I'm too lazy to hand dry them) and it absorbs moisture very well. First of all. I ordered them to match my teal/blue/white kitchen rugs and other accessories. They appear robust and yet absorbent. 2 solid turquoise towels that I use as hand towels.
