Looks the same as the picture except it is a detachable beard that can be attached. Nowhere to attach the beard to the hat. There were buttons on the hat so I assumed part of the beard to wrap around was too long and didn't fit your face like it was supposed to and just kept falling off. Pretty crazy.

Not very good. The beard is not attached, it has loops that cling to the buttons - and on the first try on, one of the buttons flew off! I had to disassemble the sewing kit to attach and reinforce them. The hat is funny. Dad was sledding and he took off his beard because it was too hot and in the way.

Sent back the next day after receipt. When I received the hat, the "beard" did not look like the photo. The central braid (if you can call it that) was barely an inch longer than the rest of the strings, and to call it a braid is certainly an exaggeration - it was twisted maybe three times and badly knotted. definitely not recommended - try Beard Head

I bought this because it looked like a fun gift (which it is). However, the beard is a completely separate piece from the hat and my son (who lives across the country) can't figure out how to put it together. He had to raise his beard/mustache for me to take this picture. He also said the hat was loose (and that guy has a big head!), so he was worried the Illinois wind would blow it off his head.

This is not the same as the picture. The beard is unsewn and a big bunch of thread f***. I ordered these for my son and husband and they were of a much better quality. There are no instructions on how to attach the beard and the center braid isn't even braided properly and looks like something fell off Raggedy Ann. The cap looks like someone is pointing a finger. Strongly disappointed.
