Large ZERO Face Creams

For the price and other quality I've heard of K. Somerville products, this one has disappointed me. I thought I bought an over the counter cream for $25. It didn't do anything I expected; no special ingredients, texture, result, nothing! I will stay with Neutrogena to feel and see results.

Pros
  • Great for a Small Home
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Kate Somerville Super Charger Face Cream

I really like the spray method of this cream. This is a pump jug. So you press on top and the cream comes out. The beauty is that you don't have to dip your fingers and potentially introduce bacteria into the glass. I'm not a fan of face perfume and it definitely has some fragrance, but I like the citrus scent. It's easy to use. As with any product, it will take time to see results. However, I was disappointed when I analyzed the ingredients (see list below) and found that 6 ingredients are…

for the price, expected result

A good thing (to the bottom of the jar) is that it's a pump top so the cream comes out the top. . This minimized bacterial contamination (but made it harder to squeeze out that last bit of creativity, which is really important considering the price of this cream). Has a light citrus aroma. Although it was moisturizing I didn't notice any change in the quality of my skin. This is not my favorite product with vitamin C and retinol and others are much cheaper. If it was a $30 cream I wouldn't rate

Weird Perfumy Scent

Kate Somerville + Retinol Vitamin C Moisturizer I love how it affects my skin, but I just can't shake the all-consuming weird smell that smells like lemon. too long in the sun and rots. In addition, this packaging differs from other products from the Kate Somerville line - even drugstore brands have better paper boxes. It is also not sealed in any way, shape or form. I love the container that uses a vacuum pump to push the product up so not a single drop is wasted. It also contains BHA…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • sad packaging

This thing is magic!

I've always had good skin so I haven't really experimented with products. Lately I've noticed that I'm in my 40's and my skin doesn't look that hot anymore. Just plain boring and dry, well, older. I've been using Kate's toners for a while so I decided to check out her anti aging products. I never thought I would pay that much for a face cream but my goodness is it worth every penny! I swear my skin looks 10 years younger and I've only used it twice. It dries me out a bit so I only use it 2…

burned my skin Too troublesome

I received a sample of this when I bought it. I used it twice within 2 days and suddenly I felt my face very itchy with a burning sensation. I looked in the mirror and my face was all red. I've used Retin-A, Vitamin C, and Retinol products in the past with no problems, but this one was different. It's been about a day since I stopped using it and my skin feels and looks awful. It looks like I have developed milia all over my forehead and cheeks. I was expecting irritation and even flaking, but…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good, but. for the face

I have combination skin with an oilier T-zone and drier areas around the chin. I love the anti-aging benefits of retinol creams, but in my experience in many cases they have made dryness in the chin area worse. I haven't had any negative irritation from this cream and have used it as a night cream over my serum, of course after washing my face and cleansing my face. It worked beautifully on the oilier areas of my face, absorbing well into the skin and leaving a nice smooth matte finish. My…

Citrus scent, so delicious! It glides great so you don't need much. It's great on my sensitive skin and I've already noticed a difference.
